With great opportunities for continued progression and development, this role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join a world-famous organisation in a role with huge potential.

Job Description

For nearly 150 years we have been fulfilling our vision of inspiring artists and audiences worldwide with the magic of the iconic Royal Albert Hall; creating life-enriching, unforgettable experiences for everyone. Hosting 390 events a year in the main auditorium and more than 800 in other smaller spaces, the Royal Albert Hall stands true to its original purpose of promoting the Arts and Sciences.

As a charity, the Hall is dedicated to maintaining the Grade I listed building and giving access to all. The Finance department is a crucial part of all that the Hall does. The Management Accountant role presents a unique opportunity to play a significant part in one of the world’s most famous and successful venues.

The Role

We are seeking a high calibre Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner who will partner with key departments across the Hall to present valuable financial information to assist with strategic decision making. Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for key divisions within the Hall, the Management Accountant will also ensure the integrity of the numbers and prepare the monthly management accounts.

As a fully or part-qualified accountant with experience of management accounting and analysis, you will be an essential part of the FP&A team and use your financial skills to support decision-making in an organisation looking forward to an exciting period of development.

The Person

The right candidate will be a creative problem-solver with an outstanding attention to detail when it comes to financial management information. They will be able to show evidence of producing timely management accounts, analysis, budgets, and forecasts and will combine this with a strong technical understanding of finance, comfortable preparing journals and operating in the detail when needed.

The right candidate’s accuracy, persistence and experience will make them a key player in an important role within the Hall’s Finance team. This position would suit part or fully qualified accountants (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA), or those with comparable experience.
