Are you an experienced IT leader looking to take on a role that blends strategy with operations? Our client, a not-for-profit organisation, are seeking a forward-thinking Head of IT to lead a significant upgrade of their digital landscape. This role will be instrumental in shaping and implementing their technology strategy, ensuring robust IT infrastructure and services are aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the strategic development of IT services, ensuring alignment with long-term organisational goals.
- Developing and executing a new strategic plan for the IT function, ensuring resources and capacities are in place to support growth.
- Providing leadership and direction to the IT team, managing and developing a high-performing, customer-focused department.
- Leading on the implementation of a new CRM system
- Overseeing IT infrastructure, security, and data governance, ensuring the organisation meets compliance and risk management standards.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop technology solutions that support organisational objectives and enhance business outcomes.
- Leading vendor management and ensuring cost-effective service provision.
- Ensuring the organisation’s IT services are resilient, with effective business continuity and disaster recovery plans in place.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in IT leadership, preferably for a not-for-profit organisation.
- Strong strategic and operational IT management skills, with experience in leading digital transformations.
- Expertise in cloud-first applications, data management, and information security.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience in developing and managing IT budgets, contracts, and third-party suppliers.
Contract Type: Full time, 18 month fixed-term contract
Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 per annum
Location: Central London
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days per week WFH, 2 days per week onsite
