  • Salary: £50k FTE starting salary depending on skills and experience
  • Hours: Full time (35 hours a week) or part-time by negotiation
  • Location: Based in our London office with WFH and hybrid working optional

Wikimedia UK, a rapidly growing and exciting UK charity for the global Wikimedia movement, is recruiting a Head of Finance & Operations to join its friendly staff team. 

Wikimedia UK’s vision is for a more informed, democratic and equitable society through open knowledge. The post holder will play a vital role in the future of the charity as it works to increase knowledge equity, develop information literacy skills and improve access to information about the climate crisis.  

In this broad and varied role, you will work as part of the Senior Management Team and have responsibility for the financial function of the organisation.

It is key that you are a warm, generous and mission-driven team player with a collegiate style of working. You will have knowledge and experience of producing both management and statutory accounts, and have gained exposure to operations including IT support and development. Whilst previous charity experience is advantageous, we encourage applicants from all professional backgrounds and will champion talent over experience.
