Following the appointment of a new senior leadership team in Finance we are expanding and adapting to create a supportive team that anticipates and collaboratively solves problems, helping us deliver an ambitious programme that reaches across all areas of local authority operation and interest.
The Head of Finance (HRA) reports to the Finance Director (Capital & Commercial) will lead a team providing financial support and advice on all Housing Revenue technical finance matters and for the Joyce & Snells regeneration project. Key responsibilities will include;
- Leading on all Housing Revenue technical finance matters
- Taking ownership of the HRA 30-year business plan model
- Providing expert commercial and financial modelling support, including for strategy and commercial negotiations
- Understanding, reporting on and helping to manage financial risk relating to Joyce & Snells regeneration project
- Supporting the arranging of capital funding to fund the development of new homes
To be suitable for the role you need to be a commercially minded qualified accountant with a significant understanding of housing development finance and experience of capital budget setting. Proven experience of supporting decision making with senior stakeholders and the ability to interpreting complex financial information is essential.

Enfield offers a hybrid working arrangement. At the Head of Finance level there is an expectation you will be in the office a couple of times per week.
