One of the largest charities in the UK is looking for a new Group Financial Planning Analyst.
This is a progressive role, for someone who is passionate about supporting those with learning disabilities and wants to drive forward their career in an organisation with incredible impact.
Salary: £52,700
Working Pattern: Hybrid (1-2 days in office)
Working Hours: 37.5
Responsibilities:
- Provide consolidated analysis of organisation’s financial position to enable stakeholder decision making
- Lead budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process
- Analyse and report on the organisation’s 3 year rolling forecast and explain assumptions, changes, and impact
- Assess and summaries key opportunities and risks based on forecasts
- Run scenarios on the forecast and budget positions to show a range of potential impacts
- Stress test budget and forecast positions against key KPI’s and financial triggers
- Drive efficiencies and continual improvement of the budgeting and forecasting process
- Aid the growth of knowledge of budgeting processes and principals with budget holders and the wider organisations
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and strong relationship building skills
- Ability to communicate financial information to those with a non-finance background
- Excellent Microsoft application skills – especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with group budgeting and forecasting on a rolling, forward looking basis
- Experience with modelling and financial analysis
