Financial Accountant

The Financial Accountant will be an important member of the finance team and this role would suit a candidate with a background in financial accounting or audit firm. Key responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with the Financial Controller to prepare the statutory accounts
• Reviewing and competing complex reconciliations
• Driving best practice, ensuring a robust control environment is maintained
• Working with the Financial Controller to ensure that the migration to a new finance system runs smoothly

This position would suit a newly-qualified accountant available to start in January, who is passionate about joining a charity and has a background in financial accounting or audit. Experience using Oracle is highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build relationships and credibility at all levels.
