Finance Manager – Revenue

A London Borough with very flexible hybrid working, 1-2 times per month in the office, is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to work closely with the Chief Accountant playing a lead role in producing the Statement of Accounts.

The role will manage a team responsible for ensuring that the Statement of Accounts are produced in a timely manner, are accurate and in accordance with relevant legislative requirements and professional codes of practice and guidelines. Key responsibilities will include;

• Producing the Statement of Accounts, Group Accounts and other related statutory returns
• Providing technical accounting advice to senior management, Members and other finance staff
• Ensuring compliance with the accounting code of practice and statutory requirements
• Leading and developing a high performing team

To be suitable for the role you need to be a fully qualified accountant, with excellent technical skills and experience of having played an active role in the closedown process.
