Finance Business Partner

A fantastic charitable organisation in central London are recruiting a Finance Business Partner. If you are a qualified Accountant who loves to engage with people across the business, this could be the perfect role for you.

Specifics of the role include:

  • Manage the finance function and effectively and pro actively manage the day-to-day finances while producing excellent management information to support the trustees, Chief Executive, COO, senior team and budget managers in their decision-making.
  • To support the Chief Operating Officer to continually improve the quality of budgeting and financial forecasting to support the regular reporting and long-term business planning.

The finance team comprises an Assistant Accountant and the Finance Business Partner under the COO.

Some of our budget holders are less experienced with budget setting, reporting and cash flow planning, so the excellent business partner service this role provides must reach across the whole organisation and communicate complex financial information to non-specialists.

  • Monthly management accounts
  • Annual audit and statutory accounts
  • Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow projections
  • Financial control
  • VAT
  • Payroll and HMRC
  • Proactive budget holder support
  • Insurance
  • Compliance
  • Banking and BACS
  • Workplace pension scheme
  • Endowment fund investment fund and property portfolio
  • Trading financial management and corporation tax
  • Analysis, management information and reporting
  • Business partner to CEO, COO, senior team and budget holders
