Our South London based Local Authority client are seeking an experienced Configuration Consultant (NEC Systems Development Consultant) with a focus on configuration in NEC Homelessness & Allocations and/or NEC Housing Service Charges.
They are looking for the successful candidate to start ASAP, with interviews taking place as early as this week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the lead expert on NEC Housing design and configuration in either NEC Homelessness & Allocations or NEC Housing Service Charges, managing the technical environment and ensuring it operates efficiently.
- Managing technical design workshops with service users and NEC consultants, translating service requirements into system specifications.
- Building and implementing configurations in in either NEC Homelessness & Allocations or NEC Housing Service Charges leading the testing and roll-out of new solutions.
- Troubleshooting issues in the NEC Housing system and managing system upgrades in collaboration with 3rd party consultants and NEC.
- Developing reports and dashboards using SQL & PL-SQL, with strong knowledge of NEC Housing table structures.
- Ensuring the system is secure, compliant with GDPR, and supports the council’s statutory reporting requirements.
Location: Remote
Rate: £550-£600/day
Contract Type: Ongoing temporary contract, part time (3 days per week)
Working Pattern: 100% remote working, with onsite presence in South London expected three/four times per year
