Our London based public sector client have an immediate requirement for an Application Support Specialist to join on a permanent basis. For this role, they are looking for someone with 1-3 years Unit4 experience.
Purpose of the role and responsibilities for the Application Support Specialist (Unit4)
- Take operational ownership and system enhancement requests, while supporting the business systems (Unit4, Agresso, iTrent and others)
- Support day-to-day operation of business systems
- Maintain and develop operational reporting
- Take lead role in functional testing of system changes
- Develop documentation for business users around system’s operational efficiencies
- Maintain system configuration options, set up parameters and user permissions
- Work alongside the Systems Lead and work alongside customers to support the design, testing, implementation and review of process improvements to continually improve the efficiency of systems and user experience
- Lead on design and implementation of user experience enhancements
- Document and review current access rights and workflow process definitions
Person specification for the Application Support Specialist
- Strong systems support background, ideally in the education sector
- Knowledge of writing, running and developing business system reports
- Knowledge of implementing, supporting and upgrading business systems such as Unit4, Agresso, iTrent, Stonefish, Dashboard, Raiser’s Edge
- Working understanding of database structures and structured query language
