They are currently recruiting a Strategic Finance Business for Adult Social Care and Health to help the council progress towards a fairer social care system. The role will report into the Head of Service Finance and will lead and manage a business partnering team that works closely with senior stakeholders and members across the service to provide strategic guidance as well as financial support and advice to promote efficient and effective service delivery. The role will help identify and maximise the resources available to support service delivery and promote best value for money.
To be suitable for the role you need to be a fully qualified accountant with experience of providing a finance business partnering service within a large complex public sector organisation. Experience of managing or supervising staff is essential, whilst exposure to supporting social care stakeholders is desirable.
